Doughnuts and beer are regular staples outside of stadiums during tailgate season.But those who enjoy varieties of deep fried pastries or a frosty adult beverage can find both inside C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek on Oct. 8, when the annual Donut and Beer Festival is scheduled to happen at MCCU Field.Started in 2017 at Kalamazoo's Homer Stryker Field, the event moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 2021, following a one-year pause due to COVID-19. It is returning to southwest Michigan thanks to hosts Outlier Events and the Battle Creek Battle Jacks, which are partnering with Penetrator Events to put on the all-ages festival.
