BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The City of Battle Creek's Clerk Office will be closed on Wednesday so that they can participate in a ballot recount from last month's general election.A recount request was filed with the State of Michigan for Proposal 2 and Proposal 3, requiring a number of communities across the state to recount ballots from a variety of precincts.Michigan voters approved both ballot measures on November 8.Proposal 2 involves voting and ballot drop boxes, and Proposal 3 involves reproductive rights.
