BATTLE CREEK, MI -- Battle Creek police have arrested a man for the shooting death of a Battle Creek teen earlier this month.Police on Thursday, July 21 said they arrested a 19-year-old man Battle Creek man for the July 11 shooting death of 17-year-old Christopher Mark Williams.Calhoun County prosecutors have authorized charges of open murder as well as a weapons charge against the man.Williams was shot and killed around 11:55 p.m., July 11, near Arbor Pointe Townhomes, Battle Creek police said.Related: Battle Creek teen killed in shootingWilliams graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in June, police said.
